How did Jesus minister?
. • He built meaningful relationships (John 11:5, Jesus was very fond of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus)
. • He ‘knew’ people via the spirit (John 1:46-49, Jesus discerned Nathanael’s spirit before He actually talked to him)
. • He spent time with people (Luke 24:13-31, His encounter with the two disciples on the road to Emmaus)
. • He shared and communicated ‘in depth’ (John 15:15, Jesus truly confided in his apostles)
. • He reached out to ALL, and appreciated the differences in people (Matthew 9:10-12, the whole need no physician)
. • He saw potential in all (John 17:22-23, Jesus wanted ALL of his disciples to be with Him, to see His glory)
. • He served everyone (Mark 10:42-45, Jesus proclaimed that His mission was to help others, to be a ransom for ALL)
. • He focused on others, not on Himself (Matthew 15:36, Jesus would not send the multitude away hungry, despite being tired Himself)
