Transgressors — three classes of sinners
Three possible classes of transgressors:
.* Desirous of change:
. 1. Remorseful, looking to God
. 2. Godly sorrow (worketh repentance to salvation)
. 3. Sincere desire to change for the better
. 4. Willing to do anything to come back
.* Ambivalent
. 1. Remorseful only because of uncomfortable circumstances
. 2. Worldly sorrow (worketh death)
. 3. Will submit to discipline but probably not to ‘change’
.* No willingness to change
. 1. No remorse, blames circumstances for his or her problems
. 2. No sorrow
. 3. Resentment against leaders or other members
. 4. Unwilling to change
