County peaks challenge
Climbing the tallest peak in each of Utah’s 29 counties
I completed this goal in October of 2020 as I summited Mount Cardwell in Wasatch. Of all the 50 states in the United States, Utah has the highest average county peak elevation! Utah outranks even Colorado and Alaska for average peak heights. I would have never accomplished this great goal without the support and help of my wonderful son and hiking partner, James. I love him so much and enjoyed every minute of our climbs together.
