Elder Bednar’s promise to missionaries:
• In 2014, Elder Bednar promised the missionaries of the New Zealand Hamilton Mission that if they would read the Book of Mormon every day after returning home from their missions, they would never stray from the gospel. He made this promise under the authority of his holy apostolic calling.
• The same promise is made in the Book of Mormon itself, found in 1 Nephi 15:24-25.
