STIMULATOR message for the week of January 30, 1973
Starting with the January 1, 1973 edition of the Stimulator, President Sant no longer included a Mission President’s message
Special notice to all missionaries: In President Sant’s message of December 26th in the Stimulator, he mentioned that in our personal interviews during the February round of Zone Conferences, he wants to discuss with each of us the personal goals we have set for 1973. If you have not already done so, set your individual goals for 1973 and be prepared to discuss them with President Sant in your zone conference interview. Thank you. “Set a goal, and you will never fail….”

“The Lord is the greatest friend I have and Sister Turner is second. We have had the neatest week. The Lord really hears and answers our prayers! It was so special to see Tina baptized. She was so happy that it made us fill with joy. We set a goal for this specific week and we accomplished it. That is also a feeling of peace. I know that God lives and the work we are doing is true and good. I am so grateful that I am here and a small part of such a marvelous work.” — Sister Behrmann
“What a shower of blessings the Lord has given us this past week. We were able to baptize one of our Father in Heaven’s choice young son’s Saturday night. Brother ______ was truly ready to be baptized. I know it was only through our Father in Heaven that we were able to baptize him. The work in Hawkes bay is going great. I am so thankful that I am blessed enough to be in the area I am and to be with Elder Criddle. He is a great man and I love him as a brother.” — Elder D. Wilson.
“It is good to baptize once more. Brother _____ is good and he is eager to learn. Elder Taylor and I are happy with this baptism but realize that it is more important to get families. So we have set our sites on the higher goal of families, rather than individual baptisms.” — Elder Pollard.
