New Zealand Hamilton Mission, July 2015 — Insights, wisdom, and truths learned
Truths and thoughts from July 2015
- July 30, 2015 — Self-reliance meeting
- Self reliance is individual, it is intense, it is an acquired set of skills, it is similar to addiction recovery.
- The Taranaki District is not wealthy, the level of education is low, there are few with college degrees.
- Most youth do not move on to further educational opportunities.
- The church has invested much time, money, and energy into this self-reliance program.
- The focus should be on getting an education, then getting a good job, and then growing the business.
- Learn to pay a price now to ensure future blessings.
