- 1 Nephi 11:1 as a pattern for interviewing: 1) What desirest thou? 2) Don’t use yes or no questions
- 3 Nephi 17: 1) Go home and ponder [let the missionaries come up with solutions] 2) My bowels are filled with mercy [express love!] 3) Minister 1 x 1
- Elder Bednar, shortly after being called to the Twelve, asked Elder Holland if it gets easier and less burdensome. “Yes” he said, “in about 15 or 20 years”. He then asked the same question to Elder Packer, telling him what Elder Holland had said. Elder Packer replied, “He is wrong. It never gets easier. If it does, it will only be because you are not magnifying your calling!”
