The whole meeting was centered on receiving personal revelation to bless the lives of the missionaries. President Nelson gave the following instructions on how to receive more revelation:
- Find a quiet place
- Humble yourself before the Lord
- Pour out your heart to Him in gratitude
- Turn to Him
- Voice your questions or concerns
- Listen intently
- Write down your answers or whisperings
- Follow through on the revelation
- Repeat the process as often as desired
Admonitions from President Martino:
- Be prepared to teach short, direct lessons about any gospel principle
- Help missionaries learn how to teach short, direct lessons on gospel principles
- Make sure that doctrine is taught in Priesthood and Relief Society
- Teach doctrinal topics in Sacrament meeting
