Two Environments


Should you ever get your ‘environments’ mixed up, the following information may come in handy:

1)  In prison, you spend the majority of your time in a 10 by 10 cell.  At work, you spend the majority of your time in a 10 by 10 cubicle.

2) In prison, you get three meals a day, fully paid for.  At work, you get a break for one meal only and you pay for the meal.

3) In prison, you get time off for good behavior.  At work, you get more work for good behavior.

4) In prison,  a guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you.  At work, you must carry a security card and open all doors by yourself.

5) In prison, you can watch TV and play games.  At work, you will be fired for watching TV or playing games.

6) In prison, you get your very own toilet.  At work, you share a toilet with others who urinate on the toilet seat.

7) In prison, your family and friends are allowed to visit .  At work, you can’t even speak to family or friends.

8) In prison, all expenses are paid by taxpayers and no work is required.  At work, you pay all expenses at work and you pay taxes to support prisoners.

9) In prison, you spend all your time inside bars waiting to get out.  At work, you spend all your time wanting to get out and go inside bars.

10) In prison, you must deal with sadistic wardens.  At work, you must deal with similar individuals called managers.
