Reno, San Francisco trip — August 1975
During August of 1975 I shared a fun experience with my three sisters and my mother. The five of us took a week-long vacation to Reno, Lake Tahoe, and San Francisco. I did most of the driving, and we had a great time seeing our old haunts in Reno and visiting with many of our friends that we hadn’t seen in many years. We laughed a lot, ate a lot, and enjoyed being with each other. Highlights of the trip included eating at McGill’s Mexican restaurant in Reno, visiting with Bruce and Margaret, seeing our old home in Reno on Mark Twain Avenue, being drug out of a Pizza Hut by one of Deanna’s friends in California when this friend found out that we were eating at the pizza joint rather than coming to her home for dinner. Many and varied are the memories I have of this fun trip.
