Proclamations issued by Church leaders over the years
Following are the “Proclamations” that have been issued during this dispensation
- Proclamation of the First Presidency, dated January 15, 1841. It deals with Church progress, persecution, and the future of Nauvoo. **
- Proclamation of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles, dated April 6, 1845. God has spoken from the heavens and the Gospel has been restored. **
- Proclamation of the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve, dated October 21, 1865. This is a plain statement regarding the nature of God. **
- Proclamation of the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve, dated April 6, 1980. It deals with the 150th anniversary of the Church **
- Proclamation of the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve, dated September 23, 1995. It is entitled, “The Proclamation on the Family”. **
- Proclamation of the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve, dated April 5, 2020. It deals with the 200th bicentennial anniversary of the Church. **
