Each entry is represented by two numbers separated by a colon, followed by two other numbers separated by a colon. The first set of numbers is the scriptural reference in section 138 of the Doctrine and Covenants, and the second set of numbers is the volume and page number in Answers To Gospel Questions where the indicated scripture is mentioned and discussed. For example, [138:18-22 . . . 1:27-29 ] would indicate that D&C 138:18-22 is discussed in volume 1, pages 27-29.
