Listed below are the nine shortest apostolic tenures of this dispensation. Five of these apostles were excommunicated (Elders Marsh, M’Lellin, Johnson, Johnson, Boynton), one was killed in battle (Elder Patten), and one was not a member of the Quorum of the Twelve (Elder Jedediah M. Grant).
