His funeral services were held in the Salt Lake Tabernacle on Temple Square on December 31, 2025, presided over by President Dallin H. Oaks. The funeral services were conducted by Elder Quentin L. Cook, who served as one of Elder Holland’s missionary companions in England in the 1950’s. Elder Holland was interred in his hometown of St. George, Utah, next to his wife, Patricia.
