EKG – miscellaneous

• Digoxin excess – PAT (paroxysmal atrial tachycardia) with block, SA (sino-atrial) block, AV (atrioventricular) block

• Digoxin toxicity – PVC’s (premature ventricular contractions), bigeminy, ventricular tachycardia

• High potassium – wide P waves and wide QRS complexes; peaked T waves

• Low potassium – flat T waves and a U wave

• Elevated calcium – short QT interval
