Latitudes, longitudes, and elevations of our latter-day temples
Latitudes, longitudes, and elevations of our dedicated latter-day temples. Lists 2 through 5 deal with latitudes, and lists 6 through 9 deal with longitudes. The second list is of longitudes, in increasing numbers. The 10th and 11th lists deal with elevations of the temples. The most-recently dedicated temple added to these lists was the Casper Wyoming Temple (#201), dedicated on November 24, 2024 by Elder Quentin L. Cook. The equator of the earth marks the zero degrees latitude line. The royal observatory in Greenwich, England marks the zero degrees longitude line and the 180 degree longitude line runs through the Fijian islands. Click here to return to the Temple Menu page.
