Bishop journal — Sealing cancellation letter in behalf of a ward member

Dear Brother __________,
My name is Bishop Michael Taylor, and I am serving as the bishop of your former wife, _______ _______. She has met a fine man that she desires to marry in the temple. I am writing in her behalf. I am cordially requesting that you provide a letter which will be submitted to the First Presidency as we make a request for a cancellation of a subsequent temple sealing for Sabrina.
We would be so grateful if you would be willing to send me a letter which contains the following items:
- Your feelings about _______’s application to the First Presidency for a cancellation of your temple sealing
- Whether or not _______ has any outstanding financial obligations pertaining to your former marriage, and if so, if she is current in meeting those obligations
Both _______ and myself would be so appreciative if you could give prompt consideration to this request, and forward the letter to me at your very earliest convenience.
