Bishop journal — Get well wishes
January 2006
During January of 2006, I came down with a terrible head cold that moved into my lungs and sinuses. I was quite ill for two weeks and missed my Sunday meetings one Sunday. The sweet members of our Young Single Adult ward made me a huge get-well card, and here are some of the kind expressions that were on the card:
- Bishop, We can’t live without you. We miss you. Hope you feel better soon. Kathleen Reid
- Bishop, We all love you so much and miss you more than anything. Get well soon! This ward is not the same without you!! Katie Bates
- Bishop, We miss you. Hope you get well soon. Jessica Watson
- Bishop, Please get better! We really miss you and need you. Thanks for all you do. Love, Monica Heiner
- Hi Bishop Taylor, Hope your strength and health is restored soon so you can join us speedily. I missed you at church last Sunday and I don’t think I could do without you for another one. Love, Teizi Sorenson
- Bishop, There is no more consecrated judge in the church. You’ll get better. The Lord does so much with you in the Grandview 19th Ward. Mucho amor, Daniel Woods
- Dearest Bishop, I am so sorry you are sick. Hopefully you’ll be healed shortly. We miss you at church. It’s just not the same without you there. Love, Connie Timmins
- Bear Bishop, I hope you get better. Love Alisa Sorenson
- I just wanted to say get well fast because we all miss you and thanks for visiting John Sadowski in the hospital. It meant so much to us. Love, Malia Sadowski
- We’re praying for your quick recovery. Melanie Schneider
- Bishop, you are so awesome. I hope you get better real soon. We all miss you. Thanks for making me feel so welcome! Hali Hunter
- Bishop, Without you I wouldn’t be where I am. Get better because we miss your smile on the stand. Elizabeth Reid.
How could I not heal quickly with all these wonderful young people praying for me and showing so much love? I was truly blessed!
