- Planning is not the ‘end of your day’. It is actually the beginning of your next day.
- Talking with everyone is back. Talk with at least 10 people per day that you encounter in your proselyting.
- Make sure that you have kneeling prayers with the members and non-members.
- Listening is more important that speaking. If we listen with love, the Spirit will always give us something to respond to.
- President Ezra Taft Benson stated that the Book of Mormon is a true witness of Jesus Christ, that it contains the fulness of doctrine, and that is must be the foundation of our testimonies.
- November 18, 2014 — Hawera District Meeting
- The baptism goal for December 2014 will be FIVE! Pray about this goal all day today!
- Always follow-up with members when referrals are given.
- The main reasons that members do not share the gospel are:
- They are afraid they will lose the friendship of friends they refer to the missionaries.
- They are not sure what to say to their friends about the Church or meeting with missionaries.
- They are not sure where to begin when starting a religious conversation.
- They are afraid they will be unfairly judged by those they refer.
