A PROMISE FROM THE LORD — THE FORTNIGHT PLAN
- John 7:17 – “If any man will DO [God’s] will, he shall KNOW of the doctrine, whether it be of God…”
- The challenge – For two weeks, act “as if” you are an active member of the Church and live an LDS life. Do it, and your flame of faith will be re-kindled!
Four steps:
- Pray personally, with real intent, twice a day, asking the Lord to help you come again unto Him.
- Read the Book of Mormon every day. Begin your reading with a prayer that you can know again of the truthfulness of the Book. As you read, ask yourself if Joseph Smith could have written this book? Suggested scriptures are on the back.
- Hold a Family Home Evening with the missionaries two Mondays in a row.
- Attend church twice, two Sundays in a row.
The Promise:
- Moroni 10:5 – “By the power of the Holy Ghost you may know the truth of all things.”
- You have nothing to lose and eternity to gain!
