Humorous experience with Steven — 1996
The following incident in the life of Steven and my sweet wife, Susan, was submitted to the “Church News” and was published in the January 20, 1996 edition in the column entitled “On the Bright Side”:
“During our last Primary class of the year, I explained to the 3- and 4-year-old children in my Primary class that they would be moving into a new Primary class the following Sunday. I tried to explain to them that because they were growing older, they would be in a new class and I would no longer be their Primary teacher. The children responded favorably to my explanation with the exception of my own little son, Steven. With a forlorn look on his face, he raised his hand and quietly asked, ‘Will you still be my mom?’ ” — Susan Rudd Taylor, Provo, Utah.
