Temple endowment film — 1990
Early in 1990, the Church produced and introduced a new version of the temple ceremony film, which included several changes in the endowment ceremony. I first saw the new film in May of 1990, and it was a glorious experience. A new spirit of sweetness, tolerance, and compassion was evident throughout the ceremony. The acting, the scenery, and the sound effects were now professional and spiritually moving. As I watched the new film, I was enveloped with the spirit as the Holy Ghost touched my heart, and I gained a personal conviction that the changes were proper and inspired, and I realized that kindness and empathy are the most effective teaching tools of the principles of the gospel.
