Baptizer at the Provo Temple — 1974 to 1977
During the time that I was a student at Brigham Young University, I had the distinct honor and privilege of serving as a baptizer at the baptismal font of the Provo Temple. My shift was always early on Saturday mornings, and it was a glorious and uplifting experience every time I went. I particularly enjoyed talking with the youth that would come, and helping them have a spiritual experience. I became fairly adept at what I did, and I even baptized two complete sessions, which consisted of over 850 names each, without having to re-baptize any of the proxies. The Spirit was strong, the experience was fulfilling, the memories are rich.
