To the Bishopric, to this assembly, and to this remnant of the house of Israel, greetings. Greetings to you who bear the tribulations of God which have been placed upon you. I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the pathway for us to tread, to regain the presence of our Creator. I know that the principles of the church such as faith, repentance, prayer, tithing, and the law of the fast are the main planks of the Church. I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the Creator and is my redeemer, and that Joseph Smith was the Servant who implemented the secret spoken of by Amos the prophet concerning the restoration of the everlasting gospel upon the face of the earth. I believe that President Harold B. Lee is the mouthpiece of the Eternal Father for us in these days and that the missionaries preaching the everlasting gospel throughout the entire world are the servants of our Father in Heaven. This testimony I declare in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
