Purification:
- Definition — to free from moral taint and guilt, to bridle passions, to put off natural man (Titus 1:15, Mosiah 3:14), to become a saint, to become a child of Christ (Mosiah 5:2,7), to aid in the establishment of Zion

Justification:

- Purpose — no unrighteous performance will be binding on earth or in heaven (Jacob 2:;13-14, Alma 41:15)
- Possible only through Christ’s atonement — Romans 5:1-11, Doctrine and Covenants 20:30-31, Mosiah 14:11, Isaiah 53:11
- Guarantee exaltation? — Doctrine and Covenants 20:32, Doctrines of Salvation 1:45
- Rewards — lifted up at the last day (1 Nephi 16:2)
Sanctification:
